Tip 173: You are more likely to convince a doctor by using another doctor as a source. If there is an area where doctors have been misinformed it the subject of eating saturated fat and cholesterol. Probably the best on the subject written by a medical doctor is Dr. Uffe Ravnskov M.D. Ph.D. Fat and Cholesterol are Good for You .

So true. Dealing with GPs on a day to day basis, it definitely helps to have another doctor as a source.

Coach Poliquin,

Have you ever worked with anyone with an ApoE gene defect? Just curious, as that is one of the only instances I can see where the myth of saturated fat and cholesterol being problematic might actually be borne out to any noteworthy degree.

Re: Tip 173: You are more likely to convince a doctor by using another doctor as a source

The other day while running, I had the urge to wrap my arms around my stomach and support it so that it would stop bouncing. The same feeling tiger shoes hit me in Pilates as I attempted plank holds: I wished I had an extra set of hands to hold my belly so I wouldn't have to fight so hard not to arch my back. If only there was some sort of contraption Gucci Fashion Shoes that did just that. Apparently there is! I missed out on the bellyband craze during my first pregnancy, but this time around I decided to do a little research and see what they're all about. A ton of options are out there: everything from a belt that will hold up your jeans to a belt that makes your belly look a tad more contoured. I tried one for support during sports. The one I like best so far is the Gabrialla Maternity Support Belt. The word on the street is that it's the most popular belt among runners, and I can see why. Designed to fit right over your panties and under your running shorts, it offers good lower-back support and snuggles right around the bottom of your tummy (vs. coming up over the belly, something I absolutely cannot tolerate). The Annette Maternity Belt seems like a good bet too, though it doesn't Gucci Travel Bag look like it has the same back support as the Gabrialla. An advantage to the Annette Maternity Belt is that it asics 66 looks a little less cumbersome and, therefore, less hot.
