My Seven Day Cleanse, Day 3

Jan 27

1/27/2010 3:40 PM

Wednesday January 27, 2010.

This is day three of my seven day nutritional cleanse. After the blog was posted last night, I went out to dinner with my daughter Krystal for her birthday. Since, there was no celery, I switched to two servings of seaweed salad.

When we got home, we were late, and I forgot to put on the Topical Mag. This morning when I woke, my calves felt like Jackie Chan, Jet Li, and the 7th Kendo brigade had whacked me on the calves with bamboo sticks.

However, my head was clear, no headaches.

I only woke at 1 AM, meaning my liver is still working hard.

In training today, the headaches came back slightly. I feel like I am making lactic acid earlier. After training forearms, I felt like my veins were loaded with sulphuric acid.

What I learned from yesterday:
Make sure to take the extra magnesium!

My Plan for Day 3

Upon awakening:
15 grams of Primal Fiber 3 in a full glass of water, 2 tablespoons of liquid chlorophyll are added to the mix for further alkalinization.

To prevent taste fatigue, I am switching to Inflam Px Vanilla flavor

Meal 6:
30 grams of Primal Reds mixed in ¾ liters of pure water
20 grams of glutamine
1 Perfect E 3.0
2 Hepato Force
5 Yin-R-ALA
4 Über Mag

Before bed:
30 grams of Primal Reds mixed in ¾ liters of pure water
20 grams of glutamine
1 Perfect E 3.0
2 Hepato Force
5 Yin-R-ALA
4 Über Mag

15 grams of Primal Fiber 3, 1 in a full glass of water, with 2 tablespoon of liquid chlorophyll added to it.

I also drink a supplemental glass of water within 10 minutes of doing the fiber solution. Today I added a squeezed lime in it to make myself more alkaline.

Tonight, I am putting Castor Oil on the shoulder joints to further aid detoxification.

4 pumps of Topical Mag on skin.

Comments:
I am surprised that I don’t really have cravings. However, I will eat sticky rice with mango pieces on Monday night.

As Eoin Lacey had predicted, my mind is becoming clearer. Even though that is never much of a problem for me.

My triceps tendons hurt in training today, which is another sign of the liver clearing up.

Re: My Seven Day Cleanse, Day 3

Charles, I assume you had blood work, body fat, weight measurements/levels etc. all done prior to the cleanse. Would it be possible for you to post the before and after when finished?

Thanks for the great content.

Hi Charles, I notice you said your tricep tendons hurt and that's an indicator of liver detoxification. I also remember on the BioSignature that food intolerances can lead to pain in the tricep tendons, is this still the case or are there any differences?

Many thanks Chris

Charles,

You mentioned, "you can develop an intolerance from fibers very rapidly if you don’t switch them around."

Will rotating Primal Fibers 1,2 &3 on a 3 day rotation suffice?

Coach,
you eat rice on a regular basis or that is your 'cheat meal'? I always thought of you as a classic carb intolerent, type - O, fast twitch dominant kind of guy.

Also, isnt this a perfect time for some coffee enemas? or are we getting too personal here? :)

Ido.

Re: My Seven Day Cleanse, Day 3

Hi Charles, I started the detox on wednesday (trying to mirror as close as possible to what you're taking)... I didn't have a few of the supps at my disposal though so I added H9/H12 in the mornings... Do you reckon this is a suitable inclusion? I do feel quite noxious 30 minutes after taking the H9 or H12....

Thanks a million for your posting this, it's a really invaluable blog...

Re: My Seven Day Cleanse, Day 3

Charles, what's the advantage with topical Mg versus oral Mg intake? How can liver detox lead to tendon pain?
Have you considered using systemic enzymes (pancreatin, protease, amylase & lipase) to deal with inflammation and scar tissue?

Re: My Seven Day Cleanse, Day 3

Thanks for the comments and feedback everyone! I've posted responses below:

Todd: I will relate those in class at Biosig 2 - tt goes beyond the scope of the Net, just too long.

Chris: I trained arms today and did not have triceps pain. I also slept through the night which means the liver is healing.

Ryan: Yes, that is the point of rotating the Primal Fibers.

Ido: I have made myself carb tolerant over the years through supplementation. I stay at 6% year round eating rice a few times a week. My triglycerides are great, so is my fructosamine. So carbs I can tolerate now.

Ben: The nausea is normal.

Kishore: The advantage of Topical Mag is that it bypasses GI absoprtion.
