Re: My Seven Day Cleanse
Hi Charles, was there anything specific behind your asparagus timing other than appetite?

Re: My Seven Day Cleanse
Coach Looking at meal 2 and 3 I notice the inclusion of antioxidants pre and post workout. I have recently heard that vitamin C and E inhibit insulin sensitivity post workout. I still take vitamin C post workout, but wonder if I am acheiving sub-optimal results. Can you provide me with a better understanding as to whether antioxidants are benificial pre and post workout?

Charles, I am curious to know why the two servings of asparagus? Is there a (near)complete elimination of foods for the week? George

Re: My Seven Day Cleanse
Hey Charles great post I look forward to reading more regarding the other six days. Could you please recommend links or referred reading where I may learn more about other types of physical detoxification and alkalinisation. Thanks for your time big man.

Re: My Seven Day Cleanse
Charles,
Will the liver detox have any impact on the size of the kneecap skinfold? (I.e: reduce it post the protocol?)

Re: My Seven Day Cleanse
Thanks for the comments. This is not an easy cleanse, but is rewarding. I've responded to a few questions below.
Ben and George, Nothing special behind the asparagus. I only use a green vegetable of the day. Today (Day 2) is celery.
Jason, It is a myth that Vitamin C and E inhibit sensitivity post workout. Vitamin C post workout improves free testosterone, and reduces cortisol!

Re: My Seven Day Cleanse, Day 1
Thanks for the info Charles. How many calories are you consuming daily? Will this 7-day cleanse cause any muscle loss? I cannot afford to do a cleanse like the one you are doing, any suggestions on how an average weight training male can do a cleanse more realistically? cheers!

Re: My Seven Day Cleanse, Day 1
Chris, I'm sorry i don't have any particular sites to recommend.
Regine, Yes, the size increases at first. Then the kneecap and calf go down.
Kishore, I never give a rat's ass about calories. Hungry, eat. Even for obese people - just make the right choices.

Re: My Seven Day Cleanse, Day 1
Charles, I understand your take on calories. I personally eat the same way you recommended. The reason behind that question was whether you would lose muscle mass on this eating pattern in case you are not consuming enough calories. Thanks!

Re: My Seven Day Cleanse, Day 1
Just an additional comment, I'm male, 30 yrs, 170lbs@9%BF doing weight training. I have been very happy with your supplements: zinc, magnesium, primal fiber, phyto PX, multi intense and ultra Hcl. Just wondering if resveratrol would be a good addition as an aromatase inhibitor? My blood test showed total T of 700ng/dL, but low free T(14.3 pg/ml). DHEA (240) and estradiol -29pg/mL. Any of your supplements you would recommend to tackle the problem? Thanks!

Re: My Seven Day Cleanse, Day 1
Charles,
Will you be outlining the daily meals or is each day the same except for your choice of green vegetable?

Re: My Seven Day Cleanse, Day 1
Charles,
Are you planning on using H9/H12 during your cleanse, and if not - what would be the reason for not using them?
Also, is 1 kind of green vegetable a day the only food you eat, other than the supplements?
Best regards,
Anna

Re: My Seven Day Cleanse, Day 1
Kishore: I actually have not lost mass because of the amount of aminos I am using. Just trained arms, and the loads went up. More interesting, the crepitus in my left shoulder is almost gone! I cannot answer your second question about supplements without more info. You need a consult for that.
Diane: There are no meals, what you see is what you get. Just the veggies and drinks!
Anna: I am not using H9 and H12 this time because of all the liver cleansers used such as P1P2 balance.

Have you kept any records of what your liver is dumping through urine tests for environmental pollutants?

Re: My Seven Day Cleanse, Day 1
Fascinating information as ever, Charles.
Do you have any specific "dosage-per-lean body mass" recommendations re direct amino intake and primal clear ph?

Re: My Seven Day Cleanse, Day 1
Mike: No, I have not done any physiological testing. This was my monthly week off work, and I'd rather spend time with my daughter than go to labs.
Nick: The most important thing is to never go hungry. So if you feel that you need to take 5 scoops of Primal Clear pH and 25 aminos every time, and you only weigh 60 kg that is okay. I really believe that most people fail at detox because there is not enough phase 2 conjugates. Outside of Monday where my head felt it was target practice for Mike Tyson, I had relatively no issues.

Re: My Seven Day Cleanse, Day 1
This is interesting Charles, after reading about the liver detox i wanted to pick your brains on something only if you dont mind. If you have a slightly high creatinine count in your blood work, is there a way of detoxing the kidney and would this help the matter?

Re: My Seven Day Cleanse, Day 1
Hi Charles,
Just quick question in regards to your protein choice, I live in Australia, and the customs wont allow us to import a lot of your porducts including Protein( I know it sucks, and probably explains, y so many few strongmen adn bbuilders from OZ) would it be ok for me to use any other whey isolate, like a 94%/100 whey content for this protocol? Thanks a lot

Re: My Seven Day Cleanse, Day 1
Charles,
Am attending Bio Sig 1 in Uk in May. Am currently on Esto Detox and have been for 1 month. I follow the Paleo diet but slip up when it comes to chocolate which I have 3-4 pieces everyday 55%-75% Organic Cocoa. I am yet to see triceps and hamstrings sites reduce, could this be because of my chocolate intake or do I need to continue with detox for longer??
Thanks
Amy.

Re: My Seven Day Cleanse, Day 1
When i was attending the london biosignature coach made reference to a detox plan called some thing along the lines of kudso/kudzu/qudso/cudso therapy. Meant to be for people that have been exposed to high amounts of chemicals through out there working environment, he made reference to, beauticians, painters and fire-service.
I realise i do not have the spelling correct but have tried a load of variations and cannot seem to find anything in relation to these either on the website or in the store. I have some clients that fall into these fields and would like to implement it if possible
Any help would be great fully appreciate
THanks

Re: My Seven Day Cleanse, Day 1
Coach, during the recent biosig in Ealing london (11-15th April 2011) you made reference to a protocol that i made note of but cannot find.
The protocol you refereed to was something like qudso/kudzu/qudso/ cudso therapy. (forgive spelling)
YOu made reference to the fact that it was good for people dealing with high environmental stresses and toxins like beauticians painters and fire fighters. who were exposed to large amounts of chemicals during there working day
I looked through your sit, both reference and supplement and could not find no referenced to this.
Could you please give reference to or point me in the correct direction of this protocol
