Re: Thick Grip Angled EZ Bar
Greetings Charles. Thank you for all the new articles, they are always a great read. This question is off topic from the post. I use the following supplements: Fit meal, Primal Fiber, Uber Mag/Zinc, BCAA, Ultra HCl. I train during PM hours (6PM) and I have a tough time getting deep sleep since I keep waking up in the middle of the night. Do you have any product recommendations to induce deep, restful sleep and reduce cortisol at night? Is it better to consume whey isolate (like Whey Stronger) versus concentrate (Fit Meal) post-workout? Thanks!

Re: Thick Grip Angled EZ Bar
Coach Poliquin,
For arm work, do you prefer the seated Scott/preacher bench to the standing version? I recall seeing Christian Thibaudeau comment in an article that he prefers the standing tot he seated version. As I have been considering purchasing one of the models from Atlantis, I was wondering which is a better option or if the difference would be negligible provided you use strict form of the standing model and don't choose to cheat when using it.
I had been leaning towards the seated option from Atlantis, but I wanted to ask your expert opinion, because
a) You appear to be a fan of the seated version
and
b) you have a lot of experience with the Atlantis line of equipment.
On an unrelated note, is there any chance that you might be able to create a future post on advice you give to athletes in terms of selecting beds and optimizing their sleeping position, since bed is a place where we spenda significant portion of hours, and as such can have a deleterious effect on posture and soft tissue quality if selection of surface and position aren't optimized.
Thank you for your time and any feedback.
