Tip 119: Muscle mass protects against Alzheimer’s disease

The stronger your muscles as you age, the less likely you are going to develop Alzheimer’s. This is based on a study involving 970 subjects of a mean age of 80, published in the November 2009 issue of Archives of Neurology.


Another reason to favor strength training over cardiovascular which is linked to increased Alzheimer risk.
